Introduction

Hello

It feels excellent to be back after a few weeks off. My days have been 100% focused on moving into a new apartment and all that comes with that. Now, my family and I are all settled in, and I’ve had the time to catch up on what I’ve been missing for the past three weeks. The community has been busy, as always, and there have also been some exciting news from Microsoft:

Windows LAPS is now available and included in the upcoming security update for Windows 11, following April 11, 2023. Now we don’t need to separately install an MSI, as the feature is now natively included in the operating system. Note that the Azure AD integration is still in private preview.

Another piece of news is that the ConfigMgr update cadence has changed from three times to twice a year. The change in update frequency might cause some relief for admins around the world.

Last, we also have a new update for Configuration Manager, 2303

Have a great week, and see you again on Sunday!
