Hello,
I hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year. This is the first newsletter of 2026, and I will keep the usual bi-weekly cadence going from here.
This edition covers December 22, 2025 – January 11, 2026. If you need a safe place to experiment, the Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 Deployment Lab Kit is great for testing. It’s a ready-made virtual lab where you can validate deployment and management scenarios before they ever reach production.
Licensing is also worth a quick look right now: the Intune Suite has been a hard add-on to justify at $10/user/month, but Microsoft has announced that several of those “suite-level” capabilities are being included in Microsoft 365 E3/E5 during 2026, making the E3 vs E5 comparison much more relevant moving forward.
